At Circle K Ranch we specialize in high country native trout fishing on remote and secluded mountain streams. Our most popular trips combine horseback riding and fly fishing, enabling you to reach waters with significantly lower pressure from other anglers. If your desire is to fish virgin waters that rarely see other anglers, our overnight horseback trips are the perfect choice for you. We also offer more traditional, wade only trips, on the upper and lower sections of the Dolores River as well as the San Miguel River (Telluride area). Full day and half day trips are available.

Trout Magazine rated the Dolores River in Colorado as one of the best 100 trout streams in America. The upper-waters provide ample opportunity for catching rainbow, brookies and the colorful Colorado Cutthroat. The lower-waters offer excellent tail water fishing for large browns, rainbows and cutthroats. Choose from our different trip packages designed for both the novice and experienced angler:

1 3 DAYS, 2 NIGHTS HORSEBACK TRIP: Ride on horseback to a remote tent camp located either by a picturesque mountain stream teaming with rainbows and cutthroats or a camp located in the lower Dolores River gorge which offers anglers the opportunity of hooking large browns, rainbows and Snake River cutthroats.

DAILY WADE TRIPS: Designed for both novice and experienced angler. These trips provide the opportunity to catch a variety of trout on one outing and to capture the serenity of the beautiful Dolores and San Miguel Valleys. 8 hour trip - lunch included.

4 DAILY WADE TRIP VIA HORSEBACK: These trips explore some of the most spectacular high country in the San Juan Mountains where streams teem with wild trout and the beautiful Colorado Cutthroat. 9 hour trip starting with a hearty ranch breakfast, lunch also included.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellations made 24 hours in advance will receive a refund of their deposit minus 10%. Cancellations made within 24 hours forfeit their deposit.
